The Kip&Co 2023 Wrap

In classic Kip&Co form, this year was a big, bright and colourful celebration! Join us as we look back on some of the memorable milestones of 2023. As always, we couldn’t be more grateful for you—the amazing Kip community. Bring on 2024! 

We are proud to announce we released seven amazing collaborations this year, with a mixture of re-runs from our most iconic collaborations and all new ones. 

One collaboration we can't get over is the Kip&Co x Ernabella Arts which launched in October this year. The partnership between Kip&Co x Ernabella Arts is best practice, and one that sets a benchmark for all future collaborations. Ernabella Arts and Kip&Co divide all profits from the collaboration equally, so 50% of profits will return to Ernabella Arts.

We believe each collaboration highlights our shared values around colour, sustainability, transparency, and design, and cannot wait for what to share with you what exciting things we have in store for 2024. 

The most popular print of 2023 is (drum roll please).....Field of Dreams! I mean, are we surprised? Field of Dreams has been our most loved print of all time, so much so that’s she’s a staple of the Kip&Co family now. After half a dozen colour ways and half a decade, we still can’t get enough of this fabulous floral.

A moment we'll never forget is our incredible founders sharing their wisdom at the 2023 Huddle event, run by the gorgeous girls at Jumbled. For those who missed the big glittering memo, it was a special weekend of inspiration, fun and motivation for almost a thousand women who are running businesses or dreaming of the day they will. 

Pip, Jess and their incredible teams cover the town in glitter (literally…we were spotting sequins from Jess’ skirt all over town) with an action-packed itinerary and a bloody awesome group of mentors that we were THRILLED to be part of.

Each week on the Kip&Co Magazine we bring you inside the homes and lives of some of Australia's most creative and inspiring people, AKA our Home Life Series! This year alone we stepped inside 30 beautiful homes, with glitter queen Em Rusciano taking the cake as most popular! 

2023 saw 78 NEW Kip&Co stockists all across Australia and New Zealand! We can't thank our stockists enough for all their hard work and support in helping showcase our colourful Kip&Co story throughout their stores. This year we are incredibly proud to have spent 50 hours helping out at and continuing our partnership with the amazing Lighthouse Foundation, a not for profit organisation who aim to break the cycle of homelessness through placements in LightHouse homes. After each season, we donate a portion of our production samples to Lighthouse homes, as well as additional products to local charities. 

These homes evoke a sense of comfort for young people with such beautiful, personal furnishings - a safe and loving space for them to begin their healing journey. 

We released 10 new products this year, including lamps, drink bottles, picnic rugs, melamine jugs, trays and salad servers, recycled nylon beach bags, jewellery boxes, oven mitts and a baby carrier! Keep an eye out in 2024 for some seriously epic NEW products, styles and and colours...

The most read blog of 2023 was our special interview in memory of Mirka Mora's son, William Mora (1953-2023). In this blog we revisit a very special chat we had in 2022 about creating the limited edition Kip&Co x Mirka Mora collection and get to know Mirka Mora that little bit deeper. 

The Kip&Co website got a facelift this year, with some very cool new additions, including our very own Bed Bundle Visualiser! This funky feature had been in the pipeline for years, and we are so glad to finally see is thriving. If you haven't yet played around with the tool, it's time to go build your dream bed! 

As of more recently, we're thrilled to have launched the Kip&Co Gift Registry, because we are squarely committed to celebrating each and every day at Kip&Co. For those  ‘pinch yourself’ moments that require a little extra fanfare in your life, why not start a gift registry and get what you really want.
