We have partnered up with Meat Mates to let you in on some of the best places to visit with your furry friend all across Australia. Because after all, our furry friends are our best companions, and we wouldn't want to travel with anyone else! Pack your Kip&Co pet essentials and Meat Mates dog treats for the best journey yet.
Hit the beaches in New South Wales
More than just the iconic landmarks, New South Wales is a beach-hoppers dream. With Bondi Beach heading up a long list of luscious sandy bays, there’s also some equally rad spots for your mate to get sand between their paws.
• Brunswick Head Beach, Brunswick Head
• Belongil Beach, Byron Bay
• North Wall Beach, Coffs Harbour
• Nobbys Beach, Port Macquarie
• Nine Mile Beach, Tuncurry
• Bagnalls Beach, Port Stephens
• North Shelly Beach, Central Coast
• Bayview Dog Beach (to name a few!)
Grab a beverage in South Australia
Loved for its craft beer scene and famous wine regions, it’s hard to resist a beverage or two whilst exploring South Australia. From stunning wineries to the bustling Adelaide nightlife, the options for a cold one with your pal are endless. And with many Adelaide bars & pubs embracing the pet friendly status, we’ve included some of our faves below:
• The Duke of Branswick Hotel
• Bacchus Bar
• Grand Bar
• Malobo
Puppuccino In Queensland
Great Barrier Reef & Australia’s Theme Park Capital. There’s plenty to do for the humans, but what about the four-legged family members? What about a beloved puppuccino at one of our favourite pup-friendly Queensland cafes.
• The Lazy Dog
• Brown Dog Café
• Fat Dogz Café – Cannon Park
• Little Black Pug
• Frenchies Café Wynnum
Head bush & then grab a delicious bite in Victoria
We all know entertaining is a-plenty in Victoria with the stunning laneways & exciting city life. But what about heading off the beaten-track with your pooch and explore some of the stunning bush walks on offer.
One of our absolute must-sees is the Californian Redwoods in Beech Forest. Absolutely stunning & tranquil, take your best mate along for an epic adventure (and awesome photo-op).. Just remember to keep them on-lead!

Star gaze in Tasmania
Unbeknownst to many, this stunning Northern Lights phenomenon has a southern (and less popular) counterpart aptly named the Southern Lights. AND these ‘Southern Lights’ can be seen right here in Australia, most notably from Tasmania. So, grab your best mate, some Meat Mates treats, a Kip & Co blanket (and snacks for the humans), wrap up, and go star gazing! Best view points? We hear Mt. Nelson, Mt. Wellington, Howden, & Cockle Creek are worth a trip.
Set up a Tent in Western Australia
It’s not an Aussie summer without getting out and about in nature and what better way than jumping in a camper van, packing your Kip&Co bedding and heading out camping! Western Australia has some fantastic dog friendly camping spots that we hear are the absolute best for an adventurous weekend away. Throw in some convenient Meat Mates pouches or a bag of Meat Mates freeze-dried Dinner and their culinary preferences are sorted.
• Southern Stars, Dunsborough
• Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort
• Lake Argyle Resort & Caravan Park
• Fremantle Village
Northern Territory
While the Norther Territory isn’t as pup friendly as some of the other Australian States, there’s still plenty to keep your four-legged mate happy while you see the sites.
• Darwin Botanic Gardens is home to an awesome off leash dog park for you pup to stretch their legs from the car ride.
• We hear the Marlow Lagoon Dog Park is also a treat, although make sure they don’t swim in the lagoon in case of crocodiles!
• The Daly Waters Pub is a great stop for a bite to eat. The tables out the front are dog friendly so perfect to park up for a break. Otherwise, if you’d prefer to see this part of Australia solo, there’s plenty of awesome pet sitters in the Northern Territory who keep your mate entertained and safe while you head out exploring.
