I wanted something like my round-the-house jacket to wear out on windy days & this is perfect. I'm a 12-14 and while short (like a bomber jacket) is on the roomy side so would say it's true to size.

Quality is great. Except that it's a pretty small Large size. Also the lining is completely non stretch which then negates the outer shell sherpa fabric being stretch. It also wouldn't facilitate wearing a jumper or other item under it unless it was a simple tshirt. I exchanged for a XL so hope that allows so extra interior room.
