How To

Tablescapes for every occasion

As the seasons transition from the vibrant pastels of Easter to the warm hues of Autumn, and finally to the heartwarming celebration of Mother's Day, there's an art to crafting the perfect tablescape. These occasions offer unique opportunities to bring the beauty of the outdoors in, and we are here to show (and tell) you how!

Easter Table

The sweetest time of the year calls for an equally sweet and charming tablescape to match! Dress your Easter table with pastel-coloured table linen, fresh florals, vibrant glassware and ceramics. The Little Bit Disty table linen is the perfect Easter table staple. This sweet print features an abundance of tiny, delicate flowers in a feminine and fresh pastel hue. Plus, did we mention this print also comes in a matching sleepwear style?

Of course, we can’t forget about (dare we say the most important step), sweet treats! Stack your table with chocolate, fruit, hot cross buns and more chocolate! You can never have enough.

Mother's Day Table

Whether it’s breakfast in bed or lunch with the whole gang, make it a day to remember with a heartfelt tablescape. The Pansy tablecloth, featuring patches of pansies in purples, pinks and yellow on an apricot base is the perfect start to a special spread you know they’ll love.

Go for broke when it comes to styling, the more the merrier! Layer your table with patterned napkins, cheerful placemats, colourful ceramics and gorgeous glassware in contrasting shades. Don’t forget to serve up coffee in our new hand-painted ceramic mugs and add your blooms in a beautiful vase so they last as long as possible.

Autumn Dinner Party

With the start of the cooler months, it’s time to take our dinner parties back indoors and embrace Toasty autumn dining. Just like the changes in leaves, your tablescapes will also adapt to embrace the changing of foliage, produce and temperature.

Start by incorporating autumnal colours like orange, reds, browns and pinks to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Toasted Marshmallow, Pansy, Vegie Patch and Pear are all great examples of autumnal tablecloths. Don’t forget to add warmth to your table with the addition of candles and mood-lighting to your space with lamps. Your table decor can include seasonal fruits/veggies or flowers and colourful cutlery sets.
