We’re incredibly excited to share our Kip&Co x Jenny Kee homewares and apparel collaboration - a celebration of both Jenny and the unique and wondrous Australian environment her art has championed for over fifty years.
The optimism, colour and irreverence of Jenny’s art has been an inspiration for generations of Aussies, including us! It has been an absolute privilege to collaborate with Jenny personally, and to truly appreciate how much her art is supercharged by her effervescent and irrepressible spirit.
This collaboration is quite simply a dream come true. Jenny Kee is an icon of Australian art and design, successfully translating the vibrancy and energy of the Australian landscape into art and onto textiles for half a century. What is your favourite piece in the collaboration and why?
Hard to find favourites! Love the PARROTS & GODDESS in easy silky shapes! Favourites would have to be GODDESS velvet jewellery boxes & makeup bags( i would use as evening bag)

How would you describe your sense of style?
Guess my style is simple timeless classic shapes. My ART & COLOUR is eccentric & wild, spontaneous, free & optimistic.
Can you tell us the inspiration behind any of the artworks in the collaboration?
GODDESS is my loving tribute to eternal womanhood. My Glorious honouring of the Sacred Feminine. Ancient Archetypes meet Modern Muse. A Technicolour Feast of Divine Deities. Enchanting & Rejoicing in our femininity. One of my most important pieces of Art & close to my Heart. My homage to the Beauty of Being Female! OPAL is my most famous & iconic design & i have created many different & unique pieces of art in Opal. I’m obsessed by the living colour trapped in our national gem stone! It represents all the Rainbow Colours of Australia! I LOVE OPAL. It is part of my my DNA in Design.
You’re clearly so inspired by Australia's natural environment. What makes this place so special?
Living in the mountains I am surrounded by colourful noisy exotic rosellas & parrots & cockatoos flashing through my bush garden. Unique flora & fauna. It's the intensity of light & expanse of colours in this ancient landscape. Australian Nature is my constant inspiration!
