The diabolically delicious drawings in Animalia took Graeme three years to create, and inspired a generation of kids in the 80s. The book struck a chord the world over, reaching number five on the New York Times best seller list and featured in a 40-foot billboard on ­Sunset Boulevard. 

Graeme believes the book has had such enduring success because of its broad market, “Animalia is a book for everyone, it was never intended for any particular age, and I think that’s why it still has such a strong connection with so many”, he said. 

Over 30 years later, and the magic of Graeme's zany zig-zagging zesty tale continues to be an iconic story for inquisitive minds around the globe.

Collaborating with Kip&Co was the perfect way to bring the whimsical Animalia book to life once again, and for the first time in bedding and homewares. “I think Kip&Co's colour, aesthetic and style is the perfect fit for Animalia”, said Graeme.

The collection includes kids bedding, cushions and sleepwear, baby bedding, play mats and swaddles, and wicked santa sacks. The collection is available for a short time only from 24 October 2017 on and selected stockists.
